I found out about this article today and thought I'd share it here. This man was a master photo printer for a lot of great European photographers- especially Henri Cartier-Bresson. It gives a god bit of insight into the art of wet printing.

I hope some of you enjoy it.

I have done business with Camera Corners in Burlington, NC in the past but I also have not had any work done for a few years.  The guy who did this has left.  I could check and see if you do not think this would be too far for someone to drive.

Just had a friend ask me where she could take her camera for a cleaning. Where would you recommend? Have you used such a service? She seemed to be asking about a general cleaning as opposed to just the sensor.

I mentioned Southern Photo Technical Service http://www.southern-photo.com/ but I haven't done business with them in many years.

Yes, but interestingly, the tonal scale in this image is pretty outstanding. Could it be?  Hmmmm........

This is what I would expect to happen to me, find a million $100 bills (all loose bills of course) just as a hurricane with 200 MPH wind hit.

Looks like the Adams family seriously doubts the validity of this man's claims about the authenticity of the photos. It should be interesting to see what develops......  Grin Grin Grin

Dang Charles....I'm already laying on the ground hurting and there you go kicking me!

I was all-in for coming to the meeting Monday night when I got all sorts of grief from Holly about staying home and doing some work. I had completely forgotten about Mr. Sumlin's slide show until I got back to work today and saw Chuck's email.

On a positive note, we have finally finished painting our house! We were only at it for just under 3 years.
